Our therapists can use a combination of the following therapies to customize your massage.
SPORTS MASSAGE
Enriches conditioning programs, helps athletes prepare for and recover from competition, reduces the potential for injuries, and aids in injury rehabilitation. Ultimately, sports massage enhances performance.
SWEDISH MASSAGE
The typical relaxation massage using varying degrees of pressure.
INJURY MASSAGE
Used to decrease pain and scar tissue in chronic areas, to increase the range of motion and speed the healing of injuries.
TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
This therapy will stimulate/strip/stretch trigger points - firm, palpable, highly irritable spots in a taut band of muscle fibers or fascia. They are characterized by tenderness, referred pain, and decreased range of motion.
DEEP TISSUE
Based on the Ida Rolf system of Structural Integration, many postural problems can be improved or corrected by lengthening the body’s connective tissues over a period of time.
FACILITATED STRETCHING
Used to increase flexibility and range of motion. Protagonist and antagonist muscles are contracted and relaxed in an alternating pattern.
ACU-CUPPING
A modality used in traditional Chinese medicine in which a cup is applied to the skin by reducing the pressure inside the cup and creating a suction. The technique increases the local circulation of blood and lymph, stretches muscle tissue, loosens adhesions and scar tissue for treatment of acupressure points, myofacial restrictions, and trigger points.
Molly is trained in this modality.
CHAIR MASSAGE
The therapist massages your neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands as you sit clothed in a massage chair. $1/minute. (60 minute collective minimum)
For instance, if we come to your business, we need the minimum of 6 employee massages at 10 minute each, or 4 at 15 minutes each, etc.
